Our watercolour sets are perfect for using with our Sketching Tins or on their own. The paint is highly pigmented, giving a concentrated hit of colour. A magnet on the bottom of the pan secures it to the base of the tin or the palette lid, or anything else metal.
We have selected colours that are useful as individual shades and also have great colour mixing capabilities when used in combination. There are four different ranges of colours, each with a different mood.
Primary - 1. Cerulean Blue, 2. Permanent Rose, 3. Yellow.
Strong, bold shades. Really versatile for mixing a wide range of useful colours.
Earthy - 1. Indigo, 2. Rose Madder, 3. Yellow Ochre.
Ideal for rugged landscapes. Robust and rugged colours. Evocative of wood, earth, gorse and clay. (Please note, our Earthy range would usually have Prussian Blue but because of an issue in our supply chain for now we have reverted back to Indigo which was originally the blue within our Earthy range)
Neutral - 1. Indigo, 2. Van Dyke Brown, 3. French Grey.
For painting in tones. Indigo is inky, Van Dyke Brown is rich and sepia-like. French Grey is fresh, calm and sophisticated.
Neon - 1. Permanent Light Blue, 2. Hot Pink, 3. Lemon Yellow.
Pure electric joy! Colours plucked from a candy coloured dream. These colours will light up your artwork like a fluorescent sign. Permanent Light Blue is like bubblegum. Hot Pink at full strength is like a tropical ginger flower and when diluted, is like candy floss. Lemon Yellow is effervescent and zingy. When mixed with Permanent Light Blue it creates a delicious aqua.
This listing is for four sets of 3 watercolours (12 half pans in total). Please see our Etsy shop to buy other multiples of our sets.
